A new Freda’s Asian & Sushi Restaurant is set to open its doors at the former Texas Land & Cattle location at 14010 US 183 Hwy, Austin, TX 78717. The establishment, owned by Freda Cheng, is scheduled to undergo extensive renovations, with construction beginning on August 15, 2023, and an estimated completion date of December 15, 2023. The renovation project comes with an estimated cost of $500,000 and will cover a total area of 7,501 square feet.
The scope of work for this privately funded project includes a remodel of the interior dining space, bar, and restrooms of the existing restaurant building. In addition, the renovation will involve the installation of new kitchen equipment, partial re-cladding, and painting of the exterior facades, as well as clean-up of existing landscaping and partial new plantings.
