Desi District, the popular Indian cuisine franchise originating from Dallas, is all set to launch its first location in Austin, according to recent filings with the State of Texas. Franchisee Anoop Alladi confirmed to What Now Austin that the new restaurant will be located in Leander and will be the first Desi District location in Austin. The establishment will be a two-story restaurant that aims to combine a modern, urban Indian street food eatery, grocery store, and banquet hall.
The restaurant will offer a unique blend of Indian and global cuisine, including burgers, sandwiches, and Americanized Indian dishes, along with catering services and curbside pickup options.
